The solution

Icon Visual Marketing developed an idea for a blog on a key topic for consumers in the tyre world.

 

Before writing the blog, we followed the Icon SEO roadmap to success to ensure its Google ranking would be successful. This included:

  • Developing a strategy based on the audit analysis, and

Our content team curated a blog How to read tyre size using original content with language that is easy to follow, breaking down what can be an otherwise confusing topic.


The SEO team then worked on the blog to make certain it was optimised for search engines, including:

  • Ensuring design elements of the page optimise its Google ranking, including the judicious use of headline sizing, use of bullet points and length of paragraphs,
  • Checking links are used to direct the reader to further relevant information, and
  • Ensuring a unique image was used.

The image used in the blog appears in Google’s Featured Snippets – a highly prized achievement for any web page.

Using SERPs, the end result is that the blog has attracted a substantially increased number of clicks through to the Kumho Tyre website and helped to establish Kumho as an authority on tyre size.
